Article Processing Charge
All the articles published in OPHIOLITE: Jurnal Geologi Terapan are freely available online (open access).
Due to the rising costs of academic publications, starting in 2023, there will be an article processing charge (APC) to cover our publishing services. The charges include online tools for editors and authors, article production and journal website hosting, a similarity check with Ithenticate (a result will be sent to authors upon request), the final article layout, article abstracting and indexing services, and customer service.
During the submission and peer-review process, there are no charges. The APC is charged to the author when their manuscript is editorially accepted or before publication, in the amount of IDR 250,000. Further information to make payments will be provided, along with the status of their manuscript, which is editorially accepted.
Upon editorial acceptance of an article, the corresponding author will be notified of the payment process. Payment is due within 7 days of the manuscript receiving editorial acceptance. We advise prompt payment, as we are unable to publish accepted articles until full payment has been received. We request that you evaluate your potential to obtain funding for the Article Processing Charge before submission, not after acceptance. Please note that the payment is non-refundable.
